Well this Deviation seems to be my most popular. Even though it very old and pretty simple you guys really like it! So because of your interest I have made another version of this. Updated and more eye catching. It is different though - If you like this, stay tuned! Comming Soon!
I wanted to do a picture with a female samurai, so i used the basis from my "Missing You" picture and seriously altered it.
And this was the outcome, hope you like the picture. (See if you can find out what that means in the background)
Finally! A samurai with boobies ^_^ . The shading on the armour is just perfect . I like the dark mysterious feel about it brought on by her stance , It's the really small details in this which I love like the leaf in her hair markings on the armour. I know you hate backgrounds and all but this one rocks even if it is pretty simple . It adds a mood to the picture.
Just Kidding, it looks great and the background (Damn you!!) looks good.
(AAAHHHHH!!!!) The Samurai also looks good too, although I have to agree with Sparda that she looks a little ninja-esquse.
Overall (You...you... AAHHHH!!) it's good.
And if you wondering what that is then I can just tell you it's my inner voice and it's frustration.
Wow, slick work, I love it. Did you make it in Illustrator or Photoshop or something else? Good work on the hands and armour especially. Did you use a reference image or was it all just from scratch?
Since you set it to advanced critique, I suggest adding a black widescreen movie-style border, and gve the sun a bit more glow (big fuzzy round brush in Photoshop on a layer above all the other layers, make the horizon and sky in the 150 - 200 px around the sun look glowy in white or light yellow) Another way I like making a sky more dynamic is by using white circles set at a low opacity level, so they look like halos round the sun (make a circle for the sun, keep it vector, duplicate the layer, rescale it so it's like 500% the original size, set it to 5% opacity or so. Duplicate that layer, rescale it down so it's about 300% the original size of the sun. Duplicate that layer, rescale it so it's about 200% the original size of the sun - example)
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.

I wish that I drinked. I know it won't solve my problems, but at least I'll have something to blame my problems on.
